I grew up on the prairies and now call Halifax, Nova Scotia home — a place I’ve completely fallen in love with.
 

These days I work in marketing and communications, where I spend my time telling stories through writing, photography and video. Before that, I spent nearly a decade as a video journalist in broadcast news, documenting real people and real life as it unfolded — often with very little time and no second chances.

That experience shaped the way I see moments. I’m always paying attention to the small things — the expressions, the quiet interactions, the in-between moments that often tell the real story.
 

Photography has always meant something deeper to me. I was the kid who could spend hours flipping through old family albums, pulled into moments that happened long before I existed. To me, photos aren’t just records of what happened — they’re a way to remember how life felt at a certain time.
 

That perspective still guides my work today. I’m drawn to honest images, meaningful moments, and stories worth holding onto.
